MISSION STATEMENT
The Georgia Metal Alliance International (H.M.C.) is a World-wide, unifying force in metal. An alliance between all metal life stylers and, or musicians and other H.M.C.'s (Heavy Metal Clubs) on a global scale. Our sole purpose is to bring unity and growth to the Extreme Metal Underground subculture. H.M.C.'s are the last true bastion of metal camaraderie. We still carry the metal standard into battle as we did "when the dam began to burst". We are metal musicians/life stylers who have all grown up living the metal brotherhood and have all paid our dues and earned the right to wear our colors. Not by selling out or betraying our brothers, not by mutiny, slandering or lying and stealing what someone else has created and put together, but by having dignity, loyalty, sincerity and honor in all we do!
No hidden agendas. no secret handshakes, no cliques within the organization.
It's not a power struggle nor is it all about who you know or who's ass you kiss. You will receive exactly what you put in. The success of a G.M.A. chapter depends on its president. Your hard work will always be appreciated and celebrated. This is a REAL brotherhood/sisterhood. Make no mistake about it, we're Georgia's premier Metal club and are 100%, homegrown! This is where it all began. We are international with chapters all over North America, Europe and coming to your town! For all those who wish to support what we do, we thank and encourage you to do so by buying our support t-shirts and patches, by flying our support banners on your MySpace profiles, by reposting all our bulletins, by attending all our events and by adding us somewhere in your top list.
*For those who actually want to wear our colors and be officially brought in as a soldier (member), there is a process one must follow. No getting jumped in, no crimes to commit, nothing nefarious. The only thing we ask of potential soldiers in the G.M.A. is time, nothing more. Time for the rest of us to determine if you have the same mentality and desire to propagate the Metal life style like the rest of us. Time to determine if you are of the right calibur of individual who can wear our colors and dedicate themselves to the cause. Do you have the mettle?
Nothing political, nothing racial. Just pure, Metal. Traditional Metal, Death Metal, Power Metal, Black Metal, Doom Metal, Harcore (not fashion-core or screamo/EMO or corporate, pop-metal, bullshit).
Joining us has it's advantages on many levels. From band promotions, to making the right contacts, to simply enjoying the camaraderie of like minded individuals world-wide who you can call a true brother or sister. Once a prospect has been officially brought into the G.M.A. as a member, he/she will receive the G.M.A. member patches which must be worn on a black leather vest and nothing else!
*There is a very small, one time fee for membership which will include the club patches. All money collected goes directly into the club fund for various club activities/swag, etc.
If a member leaves the G.M.A. for any reason, they MUST return the G.M.A. patches back to the club.
We have certain basic rules that members must follow and uphold in order to wear our colors:
1. No illegal activities whatsoever.
2. No illegal drug use (with our knowledge of it).
3. No gang mentality.
4. No bigotry of any kind, be it racial or religious!
5. Respect your brothers and sisters who wear the patch at all times.
6. No wearing of club colors while riding a motorcycle. We don't want to misrepresent ourselves as a motorcycle club.
7. Abide by the club by-laws at all times!
We in the G.M.A. have the support of Zakk Wylde & the B.L.S., Lance King of (Defyance, The Kings Machine, Empire, Gemini, Decibel, Magic Kingdom, Balance of Power, Pyramaze, Shining Star, and Avian), Nitemare Records, Nightfall Records, Don Decker of (Anal Blast).
We also work security for major headline tours which come through the ATL area. We also have the support of Metal Messiah Radio, as well as other well known artists and other H.M.C.'s who respect what we do and what
we stand for:
